An Unsent Letter

Do you still think about us?

What could have been,

what still might happen?

I know I do.

You taught me what it was to be in love,

and I will forever be grateful.

Now I'm constantly thinking about you.

It's comforting to think of you whilst falling asleep;

knowing that you too are falling asleep under the same sky.

Whether or not we rekindle our romantic feelings,

I will always want to have you remain in my life.

I consider you one of my best friends growing up;

And I will always, truly, unconditionally, and completely love you.
